The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed and installed, or replaced during transmission control cable assembly removal/installation are shown below.

Replacement of ECM
(If possible, read the transaxle compensation code from the previous ECM)
  1. Reset memory*3
  2. Transfer transaxle compensation code
  3. Perform road test to allow ECM to learn
  • Large shift shock
  • Deterioration of fuel efficiency

Replacement of ECM
(If impossible, read the transaxle compensation code from the previous ECM)
  1. Reset memory*3
  2. Reset transaxle compensation code
  3. Perform road test to allow ECM to learn
Replacement of ECM*1 Code registration (Smart key System (for Start Function))
  • Wireless door lock control system
  • Smart key system (for Entry Function)
  • Smart key system (for Start Function)
  • Steering lock function

Replacement of ECM*2 Code registration (Immobiliser system (w/o Smart Key System))
  • Wireless door lock control system
  • Engine start

  1. *1: w/ Smart Key System
  2. *2: w/o Smart Key System
  3. *3: When the ECM is replaced with a new one, reset memory is unnecessary.
  4. *4: When performing learning using the Techstream.
