Removal [03/2017 - 06/2017]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [03/2017 - 06/2017]

  2. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 34

  3. REMOVE ECU INTEGRATION BOX RH (w/ Smart Key System) 
    1. Disconnect each connector.
    2. Disengage the 2 clamps.

    3. Remove the bolt, nut and ECU integration box RH.
  4. REMOVE CENTRAL GATEWAY ECU (NETWORK GATEWAY ECU) (w/ Smart Key System) 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU).

      NOTE:
      • If the ECU integration box is deformed or damaged, replace it.
      • Do not bend the 2 claws more than necessary.
  5. REMOVE CENTRAL GATEWAY ECU (NETWORK GATEWAY ECU) (w/o Smart Key System) 
    1. Disconnect the central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU) connector.

    2. Disengage the clamp.
    3. Remove the nut and central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU).
