DTC C1625: Open or Short in Steering Angle Sensor +B [06/2017 - 10/2020]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the K71 steering sensor connector.
2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   K71-9 (IG1) - K71-6 (ESS)	Engine switch on (IG)	11 to 14 V

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK

1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   K71-6 (ESS) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   K71-4 (BAT) - K71-6 (ESS)	Always	11 to 14 V

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE STEERING SENSOR. Refer to  REMOVAL [06/2017 - 10/2020]
