Customize Parameters [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. CUSTOMIZE LIGHTING SYSTEM (INT) 
    1. Customizing using the Techstream

      HINT: 

      The following items can be customized.

      NOTE:
      • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
      • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.
      • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.
      1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
      2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
      3. Turn the Techstream on.
      4. Enter the following menus: Customize Setting / Illuminated Entry.
      5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.
        ILLUMINATED ENTRY

        Tester Display Default Content Setting Relevant ECU
        Lighting Time 15 s Changes the lighting time when the illuminated entry system (delay control function) operates. 15 s, 7.5 s or 30 s Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        I/L when ACC OFF ON Lights up the lights that are controlled by the illuminated entry system when the engine switch is turned from on (IG or ACC) to off.*2 ON or OFF Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        I/L ON W/Door Key Unlock ON Lights up the lights that are controlled by the illuminated entry system when the doors are unlocked using a mechanical key or door control transmitter.*2 ON or OFF Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        Room Light when Aprchd ON Lights up the lights that are controlled by the illuminated entry system when a key enters any actuation area around the doors.*2 ON or OFF Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        Light Control*1 ON Dims (ON setting) or turns off (OFF setting) the ambient lights when all of the following conditions are met:
        • Engine switch is on (IG).
        • The shift lever is moved out of P.
        • The light control switch in the tail or head position.
        • All doors are closed.
        		 ON or OFF Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        Center Console Spot Light ON Lights up the front console lights when the engine switch is turned on (IG or ACC). ON or OFF Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        • *1: w/ Ambient Light
        • *2: Refer to System Description for the lights that are controlled by the illuminated entry system (Refer to SYSTEM DESCRIPTION [10/2014 - ] ).
    2. Customizing using the multi-display (for Navigation Receiver Type)
      1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
      2. Enter the following menus: SET UP / Vehicle / Vehicle Customization / Lights Settings. (for Audio and Visual System)
      3. Enter the following menus: APPS / Setup / Vehicle / Vehicle Customization / Lights Settings. (for Navigation System)
      4. Select the setting by referring to the table below:
        LIGHT SETTINGS

        Display Default Content Setting Relevant ECU
        Interior Light Off Timer 15 sec. Changes the lighting time when the illuminated entry system (delay control function) operates. Off, 15 sec., 7.5 sec., or 30 sec. Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
