Security Indicator Light Does not Blink [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Smart Key / Active Test.
5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the Techstream.

   The security indicator light illuminates normally.

REPLACE CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY)

Result: 

NG

1. Disconnect the D64 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.
2. Disconnect the E24 security indicator light (navigation ECU sub-assembly) connector*1.
3. Disconnect the E6 security indicator light (radio and display receiver assembly) connector*2.
4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   E24-3 (LP) - D64-18 (IND)*1	Always	Below 1 Ω
   E6-3 (LP) - D64-18 (IND)*2	Always	Below 1 Ω
   E24-3 (LP) or D64-18 (IND) - Body ground*1	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   E6-3 (LP) or D64-18 (IND) - Body ground*2	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   • *1: for Navigation Receiver Type
   • *2: for Radio and Display Type
