Removal [12/2012 - ]: Procedure

NOTE:
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
WARNING:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH

REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE RH

REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH

REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH

REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

REMOVE FRONT SEAT AIRBAG SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

Detach the 3 clamps from the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.
WARNING:
- The nuts must not be reused.
- Make sure that the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.

Remove the 3 nuts and front seat airbag sub-assembly RH.
