Removal [10/2015 - ]: Procedure

REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT LENS AND BODY LH

Put protective tape around the rear combination light assembly LH.

Protective Tape

Remove the 2 bolts.
Pull the rear combination light assembly LH towards the rear of the vehicle to detach the pin and guide and disconnect it.

for Bulb Type Tail and Stop Light:

Turn the tail and stop light bulb socket counterclockwise until the matchmark is aligned with the unlock position mark to disconnect the tail and stop light bulb socket.

Turn the rear turn signal light bulb socket counterclockwise until the matchmark is aligned with the unlock position mark to disconnect the rear turn signal light bulb socket.

Detach the wire harness clamp.

for LED Type Tail and Stop Light:

Slightly bend the matchmark knob and turn the connector cover counterclockwise until the matchmark is aligned with the unlock position mark to disconnect the connector cover.

NOTE:

Be careful not to break the matchmark knob.

Disconnect the connector.

Turn the rear turn signal light bulb socket counterclockwise until the matchmark is aligned with the unlock position mark to disconnect the rear turn signal light bulb socket.

Detach the wire harness clamp.

REMOVE TAIL AND STOP LIGHT BULB (for Bulb Type Tail and Stop Light)

Remove the tail and stop light bulb from the bulb socket.

REMOVE REAR TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB

Remove the rear turn signal light bulb from the bulb socket.
