DTC P2102, P2103; Throttle Actuator Control Motor Circuit Low [11/2013 - ]: Procedure

1. Inspect the throttle with motor body assembly.

   Refer to INSPECTION [12/2012 - ]

   HINT: 

   Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the throttle with motor body assembly.

   Refer to INITIALIZATION [12/2012 - ]

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE THROTTLE WITH MOTOR BODY ASSEMBLY:  REMOVAL [12/2012 - ] 

Result: 

OK 

See step  2

1. Disconnect the throttle with motor body assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the ECM connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   B3-2 (M+) - B77-60 (M+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   B3-1 (M-) - B77-30 (M-)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   B3-2 (M+) or B77-60 (M+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   B3-1 (M-) or B77-30 (M-) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK

1. Check for foreign objects between the throttle valve and the housing.

   OK

   No foreign objects between the throttle valve and housing.

   HINT: 

   Perform "Inspection After Repair" after cleaning the throttle with motor body assembly.

   Refer to INITIALIZATION [12/2012 - ]

Result: 

NG 

REMOVE FOREIGN OBJECT CLEAN THROTTLE WITH MOTOR BODY ASSEMBLY 

Result: 

OK

1. Check if the throttle valve opens and closes smoothly.

   OK

   Throttle valve opens and closes smoothly.

   HINT: 

   Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the throttle with motor body assembly.

   Refer to INITIALIZATION [12/2012 - ]
