DTC P3107-213: Lost Communication with Airbag System Control Module [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / SRS Airbag / Trouble Codes.
4. Check if DTCs are output.

   Result

   Result	Proceed to
   Airbag system DTCs are not output.	A
   Airbag system DTCs are output.	B

5. Turn the power switch off.

B → Refer to   10 

A: Go to next step 

1. Connect an oscilloscope between the airbag ECU assembly terminals specified in the table below.
2. Turn the power switch on (READY).
3. Measure the waveform.

4. Check if DTCs are output.

   DTC P3107-213 is output.		B

5. Turn the power switch off.

Refer to CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS [08/2015 - ]

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE MALFUNCTIONING PARTS, COMPONENT AND AREA 

OK → Refer to   9 

1. Disconnect connector L146 from the airbag ECU assembly.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
   L146-14 (GSW2) - L146-25 (E1)	Power switch off	10 kΩ or higher

3. Connect the airbag ECU assembly connector.

NG → Refer to   8 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Disconnect connector L5 from the power management control ECU.
2. Disconnect connector L146 from the airbag ECU assembly.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

4. Connect the airbag ECU assembly connector.
5. Connect the power management control ECU connector.
