DTC B150A: Lost Communication with HMI-LAN [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

1. Check if navigation system DTCs are output. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2015 - ] .

   Result

   Result	Proceed to
   Navigation system DTCs are not output.	A
   Navigation system DTCs are output.	B

B → Refer to   4 

A: Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the L27 combination meter sub-assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the L152 navigation receiver assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   L27-29 (MSCL) - L152-4 (CNL1)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   L27-28 (MSCH) - L152-3 (CNH1)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   L27-29 (MSCL) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   L27-28 (MSCH) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Replace the combination meter sub-assembly with a new or known good one. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ] .
2. Turn the power switch on (IG) and wait 30 seconds.
   NOTE:

   A maximum of 30 seconds is required to send/receive the registration information between the combination meter sub-assembly and navigation receiver assembly.

3. Operate the steering pad switch assembly and check that the audio tab illuminates.
4. Check for DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2015 - ] .

   Result
