Automatic High Beam Switch Circuit [08/2015 - ]: Procedure
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Data List.
- Read the display on the Techstream.MAIN BODY

OFF: Auto high beam switch not pressed- OK

- INSPECT INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY (AUTO HIGH BEAM SWITCH)
- Remove the integration control and panel assembly. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ] .
- Inspect the auto high beam switch assembly. Refer to INSPECTION [08/2015 - ] .
NG → Refer to 4
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY - MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the L8 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition L153-7 (+B) - L8-17 (AHBI) Always Below 1 Ω L153-7 (+B) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher L153-2 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

- REPLACE INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ]
- PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [08/2015 - ]
- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU). Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ]
