Precaution [12/2018 - 07/2020]

  1. PRECAUTION FOR DISCONNECTING CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, initialize the following systems after the cable is reconnected.

    System Name See Procedure
    Lane Departure Alert System (w/ Steering Control) Refer to INITIALIZATION [12/2018 - 08/2019] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2019 - 07/2020]
    Intelligent Clearance Sonar System
    Simple Advanced Parking Guidance System
    Power Door Lock Control System
    Pre-collision System
    AFS (Adaptive Front-lighting System)
  2. PRECAUTION FOR BULB REPLACEMENT 
    1. Always prepare a new bulb for immediate replacement. While replacing the bulb, the lens may attract dust and moisture if the bulb is removed from the vehicle for a long time.
    2. Always replace a bulb with another bulb of the same wattage.
    3. If only replacing the bulb on one side, differences in brightness and lighting color between the right and left sides may occur.
    4. Securely install the socket after bulb replacement. The lens may become cloudy or the light assembly may fill with water through gaps around the socket if it is not installed securely.
