The combination meter assembly (meter circuit plate) and hybrid vehicle control ECU are connected via direct line. If a malfunction occurs in the vehicle proximity notification system, the combination meter assembly (meter circuit plate) receives a malfunction signal from the hybrid vehicle control ECU and outputs a warning.
