DTC B150A: Lost Communication with HMI-LAN [09/2016 - 05/2019]: Procedure

1. Check if navigation system DTCs are output.

   Refer to REMOVAL [09/2016 - 05/2019]

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes

GO TO NAVIGATION SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [09/2016 - ]

1. Disconnect the or I36 navigation receiver assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the I6 combination meter assembly (meter circuit plate) connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   I36-3 (CNH1) - I6-33 (MSCH)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   I36-4 (CNL1) - I6-34 (MSCL)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   I36-3 (CNH1) or I6-33 (MSCH) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   I36-4 (CNL1) or I6-34 (MSCL) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK

1. Replace the combination meter assembly (meter circuit plate) with a new one.

   Refer to DISASSEMBLY [09/2016 - ]

2. Turn the power switch on (IG) and wait 30 seconds.
   NOTE:

   A maximum of 30 seconds is required to send/receive the registration information between the combination meter assembly (meter circuit plate) and navigation receiver assembly.

3. Operate the steering pad switch assembly and check that the audio tab illuminates.
4. Check if meter / gauge system DTCs are output.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2016 - ]

   Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Trouble Codes 

   Result

   The audio tab does not illuminate and DTC B150A is output	B
