Main Switch Circuit [09/2016 - ]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Head Up Display / Data List.
5. Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.

   Body Electrical > Head Up Display > Data List 

   Tester Display	Measurement Item	Range	Normal Condition	Diagnostic Note
   Main Switch	Headup display switch	OFF or ON	OFF: Switch released ON: Switch pushed	-

   Body Electrical > Head Up Display > Data List 

   Tester Display
   Main Switch

   OK

   Headup display switch condition displayed on the Techstream changes with the actual switch operation.

   Result

   Proceed to

   NG

REPLACE COMBINATION METER MIRROR ECU. Refer to  DISASSEMBLY [09/2016 - ]

NG

1. Remove the No. 2 combination switch assembly.

   Refer to REMOVAL [09/2016 - ]

2. Inspect the No. 2 combination switch assembly.

   Refer to INSPECTION [09/2016 - ]

   Result

REPLACE NO. 2 COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [09/2016 - ]

OK

1. Disconnect the G8 combination meter mirror ECU connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   I52-3 (ILU) - G8-16 (SW1)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   I52-3 (ILU) or G8-16 (SW1) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   I52-8 (E) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

   NG
