Hybrid System Indicator Malfunction [11/2015 - ]: Procedure

1. Check if CAN communication DTCs are output (Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [11/2015 - 06/2017] Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [06/2017 - ] w/ Toyota Safety Sense C. Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [11/2015 - ] w/o Toyota Safety Sense C).

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Active Test.
5. Check the indicator light operation according to the values in the table below.

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Data Test.
5. Check the values by referring to the table below.

   Hybrid system indicator value displayed on the Techstream is almost the same as hybrid system indicator indication.

1. Replace the combination meter assembly with a new or a known good one (Refer to REMOVAL [11/2015 - ] ).
