Fuel Receiver Gauge Malfunction [11/2015 - ]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Active Test.
5. Check the operation by referring to the table below.
   COMBINATION METER

   OK

   Fuel receiver gauge indication is normal.

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

OK

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Data List.
5. Check the values by referring to the table below.

1. Disconnect the G1 combination meter assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the M22 fuel sender gauge assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   G1-2 (L) - M22-2 (FS)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G1-2 (L) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   M22-3 (FE) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK

1. Remove the fuel sender gauge assembly (Refer to REMOVAL [11/2015 - ] ).

2. Check that the float moves smoothly between F and E.
3. Check if the fuel sender gauge arm is deformed.
4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   1 - 2	Float level is F (upper)	13.5 to 16.5 Ω
   1 - 2	Float level is between F (upper) and E (lower)	13.5 to 415.5 Ω (Gradually changes)
   1 - 2	Float level is E (lower)	405.5 to 414.5 Ω
