Removal [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (Refer to PRECAUTION [08/2015 - ] ).

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUBASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUBASSEMBLY RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUBASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17

  6. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18

  7. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON TRIM PACKING A 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  8. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON TRIM PACKING C 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  9. REMOVE ENGINE OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK GUIDE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 38

  10. REMOVE TAILPIPE ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  11. REMOVE CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  12. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  13. REMOVE NO. 1 MANIFOLD STAY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18

  14. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19

  15. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD SUBASSEMBLY RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20

  16. REMOVE STARTER COVER 
    1. Remove the 3 bolts and starter cover.

  17. REMOVE STARTER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the starter connector.

    2. Remove the nut and disconnect the starter wire.
    3. Remove the 2 bolts and starter.

    4. Remove the flywheel housing side cover.
