Removal [02/2014 - 11/2016]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [02/2014 - 11/2016]

  2. SEPARATE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 32 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 32

  3. REMOVE RESERVOIR BRACKET 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 33 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 33

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 EGR PIPE 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts, 2 bolts, No. 2 EGR pipe, EGR valve gasket and No. 2 EGR pipe gasket from the EGR valve assembly and EGR cooler assembly.

  5. REMOVE EGR COOLER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Slide the 2 clips and disconnect the No. 6 water by-pass hose and No. 7 water by-pass hose from the EGR cooler assembly.

      *1 No. 6 Water By-pass Hose
      *2 No. 7 Water By-pass Hose
    2. Remove the 5 bolts, EGR cooler assembly, EGR cooler bracket and EGR inlet gasket from cylinder head cover sub-assembly and No. 1 EGR pipe.

      Remove the 2 nuts and EGR cooler bracket from the EGR cooler assembly.
