1. Choose the model to be inspected.

1. Disconnect the F124 combination meter assembly connector.
2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   F124-21 (IG+) - Body ground	Ignition switch off	Below 1 V
   	Ignition switch ON	10.5 to 16 V

Result: 

NG 

Refer to  Backup Boost Converter Circuit [11/2016 - ] 

Result: 

OK

1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   F124-19 (E2) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω
   F124-31 (ES) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   F124-1 (B) - Body ground	Always	11 to 14 V

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2013 - ]

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

1. Disconnect the F124 combination meter assembly connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   F124-19 (E2) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω
   F124-31 (ES) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   F124-21 (IG+) - Body ground	Ignition switch off	Below 1 V
   	Ignition switch ON	11 to 14 V
   F124-1 (B) - Body ground	Always	11 to 14 V

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2013 - ]
