On-Vehicle Inspection [12/2013 - 11/2016]: Procedure

- INSPECT COOLING FAN MOTOR
- Disconnect the cooling fan motor connector.
- Check that the cooling fan motor operates smoothly when the battery is connected to the cooling fan motor connector.

(Cooling Fan Motor) - Measure the current while the cooling fan motor is operating.
Standard Current
Motor Type Condition Specified Condition for 100 W Type Battery voltage applied at 20°C (68°F) 13.6 to 19.6 A for 200 W Type 26.0 to 32.0 A If the result is not as specified, replace the cooling fan motor.
- Connect the cooling fan motor connector.
- INSPECT NO. 2 COOLING FAN MOTOR
- Disconnect the No. 2 cooling fan motor connector.
- Check that the No. 2 cooling fan motor operates smoothly when the battery is connected to the No. 2 cooling fan motor connector.

(No. 2 Cooling Fan Motor) - Measure the current while the No. 2 cooling fan motor is operating.
