Installation [12/2013 - 11/2016]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Clean the installation surfaces of the oil cooler assembly.
    2. Install a new O-ring to the oil cooler assembly.
    3. Apply a small amount of engine oil to the oil cooler union bolt.
    4. Install the oil cooler assembly with the oil cooler union bolt.

      Torque: 68 N*m (693 kgf*cm, 50 ft.*lbf) 

    5. Install the No. 4 water by-pass hose and No. 5 water by-pass hose and slide the 4 clips to secure them.
    6. Engage the 2 clamps to install the 2 hose clamps.
    7. Install the bolt.

      Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf) 

  2. INSTALL EXHAUST MANIFOLD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [12/2013 - 11/2016]

  3. ADD ENGINE COOLANT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. ADD ENGINE OIL 

    See step  4

  5. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  6. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK 

    See step  5
