- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Sliding Roof / Data List.
- Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.
Body Electrical > Sliding Roof > Data List

- Remove the sliding roof switch (map light assembly).

- Inspect the sliding roof switch (map light assembly).
Refer to INSPECTION [12/2013 - ] .

REPLACE SLIDING ROOF SWITCH (MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY):

- Remove the sliding roof switch (map light assembly).
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SLIDING ROOF ECU (SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY) - SLIDING ROOF SWITCH (MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY) AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the S1 sliding roof switch (map light assembly) connector.
- Disconnect the S5 sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
