Inspection [12/2013 - ]: Procedure
- INSPECT BACK DOOR OPENER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Smart Key System)
- Check the operation of the opener switch.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 2 (GND) - 3 (BDSU) Back door opener switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher 2 (GND) - 3 (BDSU) Back door opener switch pushed Below 1 Ω If the result is not as specified, replace the back door opener switch assembly.

- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Check the operation of the lock switch.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 (TSW5) - 2 (GND) Back door lock switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher 1 (TSW5) - 2 (GND) Back door lock switch pushed Below 1 Ω If the result is not as specified, replace the back door opener switch assembly.

- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Check the operation of the opener switch.

- Check the operation of the opener switch.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 2 (GND) - 3 (BDSU) Back door opener switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher 2 (GND) - 3 (BDSU) Back door opener switch pushed Below 1 Ω If the result is not as specified, replace the back door opener switch assembly.
