Installation [12/2013 - ]: Procedure

1. Temporarily install the rear upper control arm assembly LH to the rear suspension member sub-assembly with the bolt and nut.

   NOTE:

   • Because the nut has its own stopper, do not turn the nut. Tighten the bolt with the nut secured.
   • Insert the bolt with the threaded end facing the rear of the vehicle.
2. Set the rear upper control arm assembly LH in the tightening position as shown in the illustration.

   Reference Length (A)

   24.3 mm (0.957 in.)

3. Fully tighten the bolt.

   Torque: 120 N*m (1224 kgf*cm, 89 ft.*lbf) 

   NOTE:

   Because the nut has its own stopper, do not turn the nut. Tighten the bolt with the nut secured.

HINT: 

Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

1. Install the skid control sensor wire LH to the rear upper control arm assembly LH with the 2 bolts.

   Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf) 

   NOTE:

   Do not twist the skid control sensor wire LH when installing it.

HINT: 

Perform the same procedure as for the skid control sensor wire LH.

1. Install the skid control sensor wire RH to the rear upper control arm assembly RH with the 2 bolts.

   Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf) 

   NOTE:

   Do not twist the skid control sensor wire RH when installing it.

HINT: 

Perform the same procedure as for the skid control sensor wire RH.
