Installation [11/2016 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER BAR PROTECTOR 
    1. Install the front stabilizer bar protector to the front stabilizer bar as shown in the illustration.

      *1 Front Stabilizer Bar Protector
      *a Stopper (RH Side)
      Inside of the Vehicle

      Dimension (A)

      0 to 5 mm (0 to 0.1969 in.)

    2. Install the clip.
  2. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BAR BUSHING 
    1. Install the 2 front No. 1 stabilizer bar bushings to the front stabilizer bar as shown in the illustration.

      *a Cutout
      Front of the Vehicle
      Inside of the Vehicle
      NOTE:

      When installing the front No. 1 stabilizer bar bushings, make sure that the cutout is facing the rear of the vehicle.

  3. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 STABILIZER BRACKET LH 
    1. Install the front No. 2 stabilizer bracket LH to the front No. 1 stabilizer bar bushing.
  4. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 STABILIZER BRACKET RH 

    HINT: 

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  5. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET LH 
    1. Install the front No. 1 stabilizer bracket LH to the front No. 1 stabilizer bar bushing.
  6. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET RH 

    HINT: 

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  7. TEMPORARILY INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER BAR 
    1. Temporarily install the front stabilizer bar to the vehicle body.
      NOTE:

      Use wire or an equivalent tool to secure the front stabilizer bar.

  8. INSTALL FRONT FRAME ASSEMBLY 

    See step  14

  9. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Install the front stabilizer link assembly LH to the front shock absorber assembly and front stabilizer bar with the 2 nuts.

      Torque: 74 N*m (755 kgf*cm, 55 ft.*lbf) 

      HINT: 

      If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a 6 mm hexagon wrench to hold the stud bolt.

  10. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  11. INSTALL FRONT WHEELS 
  12. INSPECT AND ADJUST FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT
