Removal [11/2016 - ]: Procedure

  1. SEPARATE TIE ROD ASSEMBLY RH 

    Refer to REMOVAL [11/2016 - ]

  2. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts and front stabilizer link assembly LH from the front shock absorber assembly and front stabilizer bar.

      HINT: 

      If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a 6 mm hexagon wrench to hold the stud bolt.

  3. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  4. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET LH 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and front No. 1 stabilizer bracket LH from the front frame assembly.

  5. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET RH 

    HINT: 

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  6. SEPARATE FRONT STABILIZER BAR 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12

  7. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 STABILIZER BRACKET LH 
    1. Remove the front No. 2 stabilizer bracket LH from the front No. 1 stabilizer bar bushing.

  8. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 STABILIZER BRACKET RH 

    HINT: 

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  9. REMOVE STEERING LINK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15

  10. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR 
    1. Remove the front stabilizer bar with 2 front No. 1 stabilizer bar bushings from the vehicle body.
  11. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BAR BUSHING 
    1. Remove the 2 front No. 1 stabilizer bar bushings from the front stabilizer bar.
  12. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR PROTECTOR (for 2GR-FKS) 
    1. Remove the clip.

    2. Remove the front stabilizer bar protector from the front stabilizer bar.
