Removal [02/2014 - ]: Procedure
- PRECAUTION NOTE:
After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

- REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
- REMOVE NO. 3 DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL WARNING:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
NOTE:When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

- REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7
- DISCONNECT FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP
- Disconnect the front door opening trim weatherstrip.
- REMOVE REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4
- REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PANEL LH (for LH Side)
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12
- REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (for LH Side)
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13
- REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (for RH Side)
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

- DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP
- Disconnect the rear door opening trim weatherstrip.
- REMOVE LOWER CENTER PILLAR GARNISH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15
- DISCONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17
- REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY
- Remove the nut and disconnect the shoulder anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly.

- Using a screwdriver, pull out the locking button as shown in the illustration to release the lock and disconnect the pretensioner connector as shown in the illustration.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- Using a screwdriver, pull out the locking button as shown in the illustration to release the lock and disconnect the pretensioner connector as shown in the illustration.
- Remove the 2 bolts and front seat outer belt assembly.
- Remove the nut and disconnect the shoulder anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly.
- REMOVE FRONT SHOULDER BELT ANCHOR ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY
