Sound Signal Circuit Between Video Terminal And Television Display [12/2013 - ]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the S8 television display assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the U5 video (video adapter) terminal connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   S8-22 (R+) - U5-1 (VAR+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   S8-20 (L+) - U5-2 (VAL+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   S8-19 (SGN3) - U5-3 (VA-)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   S8-21 (SGN6) - U5-7 (SG)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   S8-18 (ADPI) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   S8-22 (R+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   S8-20 (L+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   S8-19 (SGN3) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   S8-21 (SGN6) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
