1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   S8-6 (MUT1) - Body ground	Engine switch on (ACC) RSE system playing → Changing source	3.5 V or higher → Below 1 V

   NG

Result: 

OK 

PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE: 

Refer to PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [12/2013 - ] .

Result: 

NG 

Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the F118 navigation receiver assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the S8 television display assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   S8-6 (MUT1) - F118-8 (MUTE)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   S8-6 (MUT1) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK 

Go to next step 

1. Replace the television display assembly and check if it operates normally.

   Refer to REMOVAL [12/2013 - ]

   OK

   The rear seat entertainment system operates normally.

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK
