DTC C1420: Acceleration Sensor Malfunction [08/2015 - ]: Procedure
- CHECK AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION
- Check that the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) has been installed properly. Refer to INSTALLATION [08/2015 - ]

The sensor should be tightened to the specified torque.
The sensor should not be installed in a tilted position.
HINT:
If troubleshooting has been carried out according to the Problem Symptoms Table, refer back to the table and proceed to the next step before replacing parts. Refer to PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [08/2015 - ] .
