DTC B1324: Lost Communication with Meter [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the I177 navigation receiver assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the I18 combination meter assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   I177-3 (CNH1) - I18-18 (MSCH)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   I177-4 (CNL1) - I18-19 (MSCL)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   I177-3 (CNH1) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   I177-4 (CNL1) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   I177-3 (CNH1) - I177-4 (CNL1)	Always	10 kΩ or higher

4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   I177-3 (CNH1) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 V
   I177-4 (CNL1) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 V

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Remove the combination meter assembly. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ] .
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   18 (MSCH) - 19 (MSCL)	Always	108 to 132 Ω

OK: Go to next step 

1. Remove the navigation receiver assembly. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ] .
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   3 (CNH1) - 4 (CNL1)	Always	108 to 132 Ω

NG → See step   6 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Replace the combination meter assembly with a new or known good one. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ] .
2. Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2015 - ] .
3. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

NG → See step   6 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON and wait 30 seconds.
2. Operate the steering pad switch assembly and check that the audio tab is displayed on the multi-information display in the combination meter assembly and the audio system can be operated normally.

   OK

   Audio system returns to normal.
