Mute Signal Circuit between Stereo Component Amplifier and Telematics Transceiver [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   I135-17 (MUTE) - Body ground	Ignition switch ACC Audio system playing → Emergency call mode	2.0 V or higher → Below 1 V

NG → See step   2 

OK → See step   4 

1. Disconnect the I69 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the I135 DCM (telematics transceiver) connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   I69-24 (TMUT) - I135-17 (MUTE)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   I69-24 (TMUT) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the I135 DCM (telematics transceiver) connector.
2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
