DTC B2325: LIN Communication Bus Malfunction [08/2015 - ]: Procedure
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (FOR DRIVER DOOR) - POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH)
- Disconnect the K11 power window regulator master switch assembly connector.
- Disconnect the K9 power window regulator motor assembly (for driver door) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition K11-7 (LIN2) - K9-9 (LIN) Always Below 1 Ω K11-7 (LIN2) or K9-9 (LIN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
- Remove the power window regulator master switch assembly. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ]
.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 7 (LIN2) - 6 (LIN1) Always Below 1 Ω 7 (LIN2) or 6 (LIN1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION*a Component without harness connected

OK: Go to next step
- Remove the power window regulator master switch assembly. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ]

- INSPECT INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY
- Remove the instrument panel junction block assembly. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ]
.
- Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the instrument panel junction block assembly.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
HINT:
This inspection is to check the LIN line in the instrument panel junction block assembly that connects the wire harness to the built-in main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU).

- Remove the instrument panel junction block assembly. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ]

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY - EACH ECU)
- Disconnect the J18 power window regulator motor assembly (for front passenger door) connector.
- Disconnect the K11 power window regulator master switch assembly connector.
- Disconnect the S4 sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly)* connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 3B-30 (LIN2) - K11-6 (LIN1) Always Below 1 Ω 3B-30 (LIN2) - J18-9 (LIN) Always Below 1 Ω 3B-30 (LIN2) - S4-11 (MPX1)* Always Below 1 Ω 3B-30 (LIN2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher K11-6 (LIN1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher J18-9 (LIN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher S4-11 (MPX1)* - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher - *: w/ Sliding Roof System

- CHECK DTC OUTPUT (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect the K11 power window regulator master switch assembly connector.
- Clear the DTC. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2015 - ] .
- After 10 seconds have elapsed, check if the trouble occurs again.
- Check for DTCs again.
