Skid Control ECU Communication Stop Mode [08/2015 - ]: Procedure
- CHECK DTC (BRAKE CONTROL SYSTEM)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Trouble Codes.
OK
DTC C1241 is not output.
NG → See step 3
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY BRANCH LINE)
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Disconnect the brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) connector.TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION
*A for 2AR-FE (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System), 2GR-FE *B for 2AR-FE (w/o Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) *a Front view of wire harness connector
(to Brake Actuator Assembly (Skid Control ECU)) - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance (for 2AR-FE (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System), 2GR-FE)
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A94-26 (CANH) - A94-14 (CANL) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω Standard Resistance (for 2AR-FE (w/o Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System))
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A49-26 (CANH) - A49-14 (CANL) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH LINE OR CONNECTOR (BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY)
OK → See step 4
- GO TO DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURES INDICATED BY OUTPUT DTC. Refer to DTC C1241: Low Power Supply Voltage Malfunction [08/2015 - ]
- REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY (SKID CONTROL ECU). Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ]
