Audio Receiver Assembly Communication Stop Mode [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY BRANCH LINE) 
    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
    2. Disconnect the radio and display receiver assembly connector.

      *A w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System
      *B w/o Intuitive Parking Assist System
      *a Front view of wire harness connector
      (to Radio and Display Receiver Assembly)
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I67-9 (CANH) - I67-10 (CANL) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω

      Standard Resistance (w/o Intuitive Parking Assist System)

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I155-9 (CANH) - I155-10 (CANL) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH LINE OR CONNECTOR (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY) 

    OK: Go to next step 

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT) 
    1. Disconnect the radio and display receiver assembly connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Front view of wire harness connector
      (to Radio and Display Receiver Assembly)

      Standard Resistance (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I64-7 (GND1) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal Below 1 Ω

      Standard Resistance (w/o Intuitive Parking Assist System)

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I152-7 (GND1) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal Below 1 Ω
    3. Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I64-3 (ACC1) - Body ground Ignition switch ACC 11 to 14 V
      I64-4 (+B1) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
      I67-1 (IG) - Body ground ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V

      Standard Voltage (w/o Intuitive Parking Assist System)

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I152-3 (ACC1) - Body ground Ignition switch ACC 11 to 14 V
      I152-4 (+B1) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
      I155-1 (IG) - Body ground ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT) 

    OK → See step   3 

  3. REPLACE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [08/2015 - ]
