Removal [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work (Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2014 - ] ).

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2014 - 10/2015] or INITIALIZATION [10/2015 - ] ).

  3. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY 

    (Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ] ).

  4. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17

  5. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT 

    (Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ] ).

  6. REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Open the cap, remove the nut and disconnect the wire harness.
    3. Remove the bolt and disconnect the wire harness clamp.
    4. Remove the 2 bolts.

    5. Disconnect the wire harness clamp and remove the generator bracket.
    6. Remove the 2 bolts and generator assembly.
