Removal [10/2014 - 10/2015]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL 
    1. Remove the 9 clips and cool air intake duct seal.

  2. REMOVE HOOD CENTER CUSHION 
    1. Remove the 2 hood center cushions.

  3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Put protective tape around the front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.

    2. Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.

      *1 Pin Hold Clip

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    3. Remove the clip.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    4. Remove the 6 screws.

    5. Disengage the 3 claws as shown in the illustration.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    6. Pull back the side of the front bumper assembly and disconnect each connector.
      NOTE:

      Do not apply excessive force when pulling back the front bumper assembly.

    7. Using a clip remover, remove the 3 clips.

    8. Remove the front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.
