Removal [08/2015 - 08/2022]: Procedure

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    WARNING:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2019 - 08/2022] ).

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 SWITCH HOLE BASE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [08/2019 - 08/2022]

  3. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15 [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15 [08/2019 - 08/2022]

  4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Operate the tilt and telescopic lever to fully extend and lower the steering column assembly.
    2. Place protective tape as shown in the illustration.

    3. Detach the 4 claws.
    4. Detach the 7 clips and remove the finish panel.

  5. REMOVE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 4 screws.

    2. Disconnect the connectors and remove the combination meter by pulling it up in the direction of the arrow in the illustration.
