Downhill Assist Control Indicator Light does not Come ON [08/2015 - 08/2019]: Procedure
- CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION LINE
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Select CAN Bus Check from the System Selection Menu screen and follow the prompts on the screen to inspect the CAN bus (Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [08/2015 - 08/2019]
).
OK
CAN Bus Check indicates no malfunctions in CAN communication.
Result:
NG
GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM (HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING)

- INSPECT DOWNHILL ASSIST CONTROL SWITCH
- Remove the downhill assist control switch (Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ] ).
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SKID CONTROL ECU HDCS CIRCUIT)
- Disconnect the A6 skid control ECU connector.
- Disconnect the U4 downhill assist control switch connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance

- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Data List.ABS/VSC/TRAC
