Installation [08/2015 - 08/2019]: Procedure

INSTALL NO. 2 TELEPHONE BRACKET
1. Install the bracket with the 2 bolts.
INSTALL NO. 1 TELEPHONE BRACKET
1. Install the bracket with the 3 bolts.
2. Connect the 2 connectors.
INSTALL MAYDAY BATTERY WITH BRACKET
1. Attach the 2 claws to install the mayday battery.
2. Install the bracket with the bolt.
  Torque: 13 N*m (133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf)

INSTALL DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)

Install the DCM (telematics transceiver) with bracket with the bolt and nut.

For bolt A

Torque: 13 N*m (133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf)

For nut B

Torque: 12 N*m (122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf)

CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2015 - 08/2019] ).
CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
1. Check the SRS warning light (Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 ).
PERFORM REGISTRATION
1. Perform registration (Refer to DCM ACTIVATION [08/2015 - 08/2019] ).
  NOTE:
  When replacing the mayday battery or DCM (telematics transceiver) (together with the mayday battery), perform registration.
