Sliding Roof does not Move by Operating Sliding Roof Control Switch [10/2015 - ]: Procedure
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Sliding Roof / Data List.
- Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.
Body Electrical > Sliding Roof > Data List

The Techstream display changes according to switch operation as shown in the table.

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SLIDING ROOF ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly (sliding roof ECU) connector.

(to Sliding Roof Drive Gear Sub-assembly [Sliding Roof ECU]) - Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
- Disconnect the sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly (sliding roof ECU) connector.
- INSPECT MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY (SLIDING ROOF CONTROL SWITCH)
- Remove the map light assembly (sliding roof control switch).
Refer to REMOVAL [10/2015 - ]
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance

- Disconnect the Q7 map light assembly (sliding roof control switch) connector.
- Disconnect the Q16 map light assembly (sliding roof control switch) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
