Inspection [12/2012 - ]: Procedure
- INSPECT BACK DOOR CONTROL SWITCH
- Check the operation of the door control switch assembly.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 1 - 4 Back door control switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher 1 - 4 Back door control switch pushed Below 1 Ω If the result is not as specified, replace the back door control switch.

(Back Door Control Switch)
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Check that the switch illuminates.

(Back Door Control Switch)- Apply battery voltage to the power back door control switch assembly and check that the LED illuminates.
OK
Measurement Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → 3 (ILL+)
Battery negative (-) → 2 (ILL-)LED illuminates If the result is not as specified, replace the back door control switch.
- Apply battery voltage to the power back door control switch assembly and check that the LED illuminates.
- Check the operation of the door control switch assembly.
