Removal [12/2012 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    WARNING:

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [12/2012 - ]

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [12/2012 - 10/2015] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2015 - 08/2016] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2016 - ]

  3. REMOVE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH REAR DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [12/2012 - 08/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [08/2016 - ]

  4. REMOVE DOOR ASSIST GRIP COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [12/2012 - 08/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [08/2016 - ]

  5. REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [12/2012 - 08/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [08/2016 - ]

  6. REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [12/2012 - 08/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [08/2016 - ]

  7. REMOVE REAR DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [12/2012 - 08/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [08/2016 - ]

  8. REMOVE REAR DOOR WINDOW DIVISION BAR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [12/2012 - 08/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [08/2016 - ]

  9. REMOVE REAR DOOR QUARTER WINDOW GLASS LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [12/2012 - 08/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [08/2016 - ]

  10. REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15 [12/2012 - 08/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15 [08/2016 - ]

  11. REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS RUN LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18 [12/2012 - 08/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18 [08/2016 - ]

  12. REMOVE REAR DOOR WITH MOTOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 3 screws.
    3. Move the rear door with motor lock assembly LH downward and pull the release plate out of the rear door outside handle frame.

      *a Downward
    4. Remove the rear door with motor lock assembly LH and cables as a unit.
    5. Remove the door lock wiring harness seal from the rear door with motor lock assembly LH.

  13. REMOVE REAR DOOR LOCK REMOTE CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24 [12/2012 - 08/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24 [08/2016 - ]

  14. REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE LOCKING CABLE ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25 [12/2012 - 08/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25 [08/2016 - ]
