Removal [10/2015 - ]: Procedure

PRECAUTION
NOTE:
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2015 - 08/2016] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2016 - ]
REMOVE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (for Radio and Display Type, w/ Satellite Radio)

REMOVE WIRE HARNESS

1. Disconnect each connector and remove the wire harness.
REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET

1. Remove the 5 screws and No. 1 radio bracket.
REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET

1. Remove the 5 screws and No. 2 radio bracket.

REMOVE STEREO COMPONENT TUNER ASSEMBLY

Detach the 2 guides and remove the stereo component tuner assembly as shown in the illustration.
