DTC B1650-32: Occupant Classification System Malfunction [12/2012 - ]: Procedure
- CHECK DTC
- Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 10 seconds.
- Clear the DTCs.
Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2012 - ] .
Body Electrical > Occupant Detection > Clear DTCs
- Check for DTCs of the occupant detection ECU.
Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2012 - ] .
Body Electrical > Occupant Detection > Trouble Codes
Result Proceed to DTCs are output DTC is not output
Result:
DTC is output
GO TO OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM. Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [12/2012 - ] .

- Clear the DTCs.

- Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Check for DTCs.

- CHECK CONNECTION OF CONNECTORS
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, and wait for at least 90 seconds.
- Check that the connectors are properly connected to the airbag sensor assembly and occupant detection ECU.

- Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal, and wait for at least 2 seconds.
