Removal [12/2012 - 10/2015]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Twist the shift lever knob sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove it.

  2. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE HOLE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Apply protective tape as shown in the illustration.

      Protective Tape
    2. Using moulding remover B, detach the 9 clips and claw and remove the parking brake hole cover sub-assembly.
  3. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Apply protective tape as shown in the illustration.
    2. Using moulding remover B, detach the 12 clips and remove the upper console panel sub-assembly.

    3. Disconnect the connector.

  4. REMOVE INNER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL BRACKET COVER LH

    1. Detach the 2 clips and guide and remove the inner No. 1 instrument panel bracket cover LH.
  5. REMOVE INNER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL BRACKET COVER RH

    1. Detach the 2 clips and guide and remove the inner No. 1 instrument panel bracket cover RH.
  6. REMOVE UPPER REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Detach the 4 claws and remove the upper rear console panel sub-assembly.

  7. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX CARPET 
    1. Remove the console box carpet.

  8. REMOVE LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL 
    1. Apply protective tape as shown in the illustration.

      Protective Tape.
    2. Using moulding remover B, detach the 5 clips and remove the lower center instrument panel finish panel.
  9. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.
    2. Remove the 4 bolts and rear console box sub-assembly.
