DTC B2205: Kick Sensor Circuit [08/2016 - ]: Procedure

1. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2012 - ]

   Body Electrical > Back Door > Clear DTCs 

2. Check for DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2012 - ]

   Body Electrical > Back Door > Trouble Codes

   DTC B2205 is output	B

USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [08/2016 - 08/2017]  , or refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [08/2017 - ]

1. Disconnect the S7 kick door control sensor connector.
2. Wait for approximately 60 seconds.
3. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2012 - ]

   Body Electrical > Back Door > Clear DTCs 

4. Check for DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2012 - ]

   Body Electrical > Back Door > Trouble Codes

   DTC B2205 is output	B

REPLACE KICK DOOR CONTROL SENSOR. Refer to  REMOVAL [08/2016 - ]

1. Disconnect the U28 multiplex network door ECU connector.
2. Disconnect the S7 kick door control sensor connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   U28-14 (KSIN) or S7-2 (KSOT) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to

   NG
