Installation [12/2012 - 08/2016]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL FRONT SHOULDER BELT ANCHOR ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Attach the guide to temporarily install the front shoulder belt anchor adjuster assembly and 2 bolts.

    2. Tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque: 42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf) 

  2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Align the 2 claws with the seat belt positioning holes, and install the retractor of the front seat outer belt assembly LH with the bolt as shown in the illustration.

      Torque: 8.5 N*m (87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf)

    2. Connect the pretensioner connector and lock the locking button as shown in the illustration.
      NOTE:

      Securely lock the locking button.

    3. Connect the shoulder anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly with the nut.

      Torque: 42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf) 

  3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Seat Belt with Selectable Force Limiter) 
    1. Align the 2 claws with the seat belt positioning holes, and install the retractor of the front seat outer belt assembly RH with the bolt as shown in the illustration.

      Torque: 8.5 N*m (87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf)

    2. Connect the pretensioner connector and selectable force limiter connector, and lock the 2 locking buttons as shown in the illustration.
      NOTE:

      Securely lock the locking button.

    3. Connect the shoulder anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly with the nut.

      Torque: 42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf) 

  4. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 [12/2012 - 10/2015] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 [10/2015 - 08/2017]

  5. INSTALL LOWER CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19 [12/2012 - 10/2015] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19 [10/2015 - 08/2017]

  6. CONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Connect the floor anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly LH with the bolt.

      Torque: 42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf) 

    2. Check that the front seat outer belt assembly LH is not twisted.
  7. INSTALL OUTER LAP BELT ANCHOR COVER 
    1. Attach the 3 claws to install the outer lap belt anchor cover.
  8. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 28 [12/2012 - 10/2015] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 29 [10/2015 - 08/2017]

  9. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 30 [12/2012 - 10/2015] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 31 [10/2015 - 08/2017]

  10. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 32 [12/2012 - 10/2015] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 33 [10/2015 - 08/2017]

  11. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 34 [12/2012 - 10/2015] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 35 [10/2015 - 08/2017]

  12. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [12/2012 - 10/2015] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2015 - 08/2016]

  13. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT 

    Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [12/2012 - ]
