Removal [12/2012 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2012 - 10/2015] Refer to REMOVAL [10/2015 - ]

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX MOUNTING BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 4 bolts and No. 2 console box mounting bracket.

  3. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the parking brake switch connector.
    2. Remove the lock nut and No. 1 cable adjusting nut.

      *1 Lock Nut
      *2 No. 1 Cable Adjusting Nut
    3. Disconnect the No. 1 parking brake cable assembly from the parking brake equalizer.

    4. Remove the 2 bolts and parking brake lever (with the No. 1 parking brake cable).

  4. DISCONNECT NO. 1 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Pull up the parking brake lever claw.

    2. Disconnect the No. 1 parking brake cable assembly from the parking brake lever.

  5. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY
